    For the noobs:
    Sometimes a massive increase in usage of a thing forces transactions faster than projected value increase can express. This is a traffic jam. Value (the number of cars) starts going down, so the transactions (velocity of cars) can increase. Only the transactions are more like tiny little dents. And there’s the rub, value crashes because the profit per transaction period goes down and HODLers jump ship. And then transactions explode, further reducing per transaction profits.
