Yeah no this guy’s gonna get nuked, he’s punching *wayyy* above his weight class
Honestly since it appears from his LinkedIn that he’s on a 6 month internship from May, they may just let that expire and blacklist him from the company.
Throwaway account since I wish to remain anonymous. I’m also an Apple intern at the who’s interacted with Avi numerous times. While my opinion of him certainly can’t be objective since I am disgusted by his sense of humor and what he finds appropriate to talk about, I’m not surprised he would have this sort of opinion. From what I heard today he really didn’t intend for there to be this much backlash to the situation.

Translation: “I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing, and I know I would get reamed for pretending my methodology was scientifically valid if I allowed it any scrutiny.”
Of course, he’s going to get reamed anyway.
I have a feeling the outcome will be the same as the Google situation
Ouch. This person is going to be hammered just like Damore.
Posting this on a throwaway because I don’t want to be associated with it’s contents. The news is still developing, but it seems the original was already taken down by the author Avi Agarwal probably due to pressure from Apple.
