Binance, Bancor, Huobi, and more popular exchanges recently joined CoinMarketCap’s Data Accountability & Transparency Alliance. After years of unverified data and issues found in CMC (Many of them were found in this sub), this alliance is a big step for a better crypto community.

This is a much better option than letting government force regulations on the community. Everyone involved with crypto should be holding each other to account. Play fair and you will get that green lambo!

This is only happening in direct response to other services popping up that really put pressure on CMC. Messari’s OnChainFX site has had a data accountability project for a while now.

It’s important to continue to support alternative sites even if you like CMC, as this is a prime example that market leaders only innovate when forced to.

  4. CMC doesnt know how to check for real volume, they have proven they cant do it time and time again. Bitwise really showed the world that you cant use cmc if you want to know about true volume
